The idea

white text sits on the deep blue sky of a flat-shapes mountain scene, with a snow report chip next to the button. After 120 px the header turns to frosted glass. The heading sits in a navy card so it reads on the busy slope. On phones the menu drops down as a panel under the header, not full screen.
