The idea

the board behind the counter, as the hero. On dark slate, a heavy Merriweather headline, "Roasted on Tuesday. Poured all week.", with "Tuesday." circled in caramel chalk, and a caramel "Order beans" button. On the right a chalkboard in a wooden frame: "Today's coffees" in chalk capitals with a mint squiggle, then five coffees in chalk handwriting, each with its tasting note in mint, a dotted leader and the price in caramel; the filter has a pink "new" ring. The rows appear one by one. A cup drawn in chalk sits on the frame's corner and its steam drifts up slowly.
