The idea

energy like the wall itself. On hot orange a wide, heavy, upper-case Archivo heading wipes in, "Know the new routes first.", and an ink line draws itself under "first." Two numbers count up (62 new problems last month, 1,900 readers), then a cream field with a thick ink border and a big ink button. The intro column pins while three cream cards stack on the right as you scroll: new routes, events, comps, each with its flat-shapes picture and when it comes. A yellow climbing-hold sticker floats on the corner.

Palette and fonts: hot orange, ink purple, cream, hold yellow, teal, brick · Archivo 900 wide, Rubik

The calm copy

energy like the wall itself. On hot orange a wide, heavy, upper-case Archivo heading comes in word by word, "Know the new routes first.", with an ink hand-drawn line under "first." Two numbers count up (62 new problems last month, 1,900 readers), then a cream field with a thick ink border and a big ink button. The intro column pins while three cream cards stack on the right as you scroll: new routes, events, comps, each with its flat-shapes picture and when it comes. A yellow climbing-hold sticker sits still on the corner.
