The idea

an About page that smells of sawdust. On strong walnut brown a soft, wonky Fraunces title arrives word by word, "We make things that will outlast us.", and an oak-gold line draws itself under "outlast us." Beside it who they are, three small facts and "See our work". Under it the wide gouache painting of the workshop drifts slowly inside its frame as the page scrolls; a gold "Est. 1998 · Made by hand · Hebden Bridge" badge turns on its top edge and a pencil rocks on its corner. A dark strip of trades in gold italic runs across the foot.

The calm copy

the same walnut About page: the soft Fraunces title "We make things that will outlast us." arrives word by word with an oak-gold hand-drawn line under "outlast us.", the three facts and "See our work", then the wide workshop painting drifting gently in its frame as the page scrolls, the gold "Est. 1998" badge and the pencil still on its edges, and a still dark band of trades in gold italic.
