The idea

the noticeboard by the till, tidied up. On warm paper, a Literata title, "Events at Lantern Books", the shop's name in rust italic. One line on what happens and what it costs, then "Also this month" as a ruled list of three dates. On the right the next event is a white card: the ink-and-wash drawing of the shop corner with chairs set out, a bottle-green "Next event" chip, the date in rust, the author's name large, two lines, where and how much, and the one button, "Book a seat".

Palette and fonts: warm paper, bottle green, lantern rust, ink, white · Literata 700 and 500 italic, Libre Franklin
