The idea

the plainest good blog post. On warm paper, one left-aligned column: "Penrose & Hale Notes · Self Assessment" in small teal capitals, a heavy Schibsted title with a rust double underline under "keep", then the author, the date and "6 min read" between two hairlines. A larger standfirst, then the article in Literata: three H2 sections, two H3s, and a checklist with drawn tick boxes between strong rules. The post ends with the author's initials, a one-line bio and a white box with the next step. No picture: the words are the design.

Palette and fonts: warm paper, ink navy, deep teal, rust · Schibsted Grotesk 800 for headings and small print, Literata for the body
