The idea

an editor's letter that reads like a page of the printed issue. On warm paper, one centred narrow column: a small violet moon, the letter's name in spaced capitals, a soft Instrument Serif title with "paper" in violet italic, and the byline. The text itself is left aligned in Fraunces at 20 px. One couplet sits between hairlines, a dotted list shows where the $6 goes, and the editor signs off in violet handwriting before an asterisks rule and one outline button.

Palette and fonts: warm paper, night plum, violet, lilac rule · Instrument Serif, Fraunces, Caveat for the signature
