The idea

one evening, told completely and calmly, as the event's own page. On warm paper, the ink and wash painting of the upstairs room, set out with chairs and a lectern, sits in an arched frame. Beside it, "Author talk · Lantern Books", then a Literata heading, "Ottilie Marsh on The Salt Road", with the book's title in italic over a gold double underline, a short paragraph on what happens, and four ruled lines: when, where, price, seats. A rust pill button books a seat; a plain link with a calendar icon adds it to your calendar. Phone and email for questions close it.
