The idea

show the work, like a drawing on the board. On pale grey with a faint drafting grid, a large Cormorant heading, "One building, drawn and explained, every month.", with a thin blue line under "explained", one line about the issue, a square field joined to a blue button, and "Read a sample issue" as the second way in. On the right the ink-and-wash garden studio sits on a white sheet with a ruled title block (issue, size, plate number). The washes colour in as it rises up the screen; hover zooms in a little.

Palette and fonts: drafting grey, ink black, architect blue, white sheet · Cormorant Garamond 600, IBM Plex Sans
