The idea

let the back issues sell the next one. On parchment, a Literata heading, "Our town, one street at a time.", with the phrase on a thin rust underline, one line on what each issue holds and when it comes, a plain field and a deep teal "Send me the next one" button. On the right "From the archive" lists the last four issues like an index: a big teal issue number, the title in serif, the date and a one-line tease, each one a link to read it, then "All 41 issues".

Palette and fonts: parchment, deep teal, rust, stone, ink · Literata 600, IBM Plex Sans
