A gouache painting of a small carpentry workshop in morning light: an oak bench with hand tools, planks stacked by the wall and a half-made chair

Oakhurst Joinery · Ledbury

Three of us, one workshop, and oak that grew forty miles away.

Rob started Oakhurst in 2008 in his dad's garage, with one bench and a second-hand planer. The first job was a staircase for a neighbor. She still sends a Christmas card.

Today Hannah makes our windows and stairs, Alfie is in the second year of his apprenticeship, and Rob still answers the phone. We draw every piece by hand, make it here, and fit it ourselves.
