Fernhill Spa · your first visit
Ask anything, before you're in a robe.
First visits come with the same small worries: what to bring, what to wear under the robe, whether you have to talk to anyone. Point at a topic, or tab to it, and it opens.

Before you come
What to pack, in fullWhat should I bring?
Just a swimsuit. Your robe, towels, slippers and toiletries are waiting in your locker.
Can I come if I'm pregnant?
Yes, after 12 weeks. Tell us when you book and we will swap the sauna and some oils for treatments made for pregnancy.
When should I arrive?
Twenty minutes before your first treatment, for a short health form and a cup of tea.

On the day
See a spa day, hour by hourDo I have to talk to anyone?
No. The pool is a quiet zone and most guests barely say a word all day. That is rather the point.
What do I wear under the robe?
Your swimsuit around the pool. For a massage, whatever you are comfortable in; we have disposable briefs too.
Is lunch included?
Yes, two courses in the garden room, with vegan and gluten-free choices every day.

Treatments
All treatments and timesWhich one for a first visit?
The 60-minute Fernhill massage. Your therapist asks about pressure once, then you simply rest.
Is the hammam very hot?
Warm and steamy at 45°C, gentler than a sauna. You can step out whenever you like.
Can we be treated together?
Yes, in our double room, side by side. Book both treatments on one booking.
-
Gifts
Buy a gift voucherHow long does a voucher last?
Eighteen months, and we will happily extend it once if life gets in the way.
Can you mail it?
A printed card by first-class mail for $2.50, or an email voucher in minutes.
Can they choose the day?
Yes. A money voucher from $50 works for any spa day or treatment.
