1.What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. It lets the site remember something between one page and the next, such as the cake you put in your cart a minute ago.
Cookies cannot see your files, and they do not carry viruses. Most of them expire after a set time, and you can delete them yourself whenever you like.
2.The cookies we use
Our website uses three cookies. All three are our own: they are set by crumbandco.example and no one else can read them.
| Cookie | What it does | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
cc_basket | Remembers what is in your cart while you order | 7 days | Needed |
cc_choice | Remembers your cookie choice, so we do not ask again | 12 months | Needed |
cc_visits | Counts visits and pages read, with no name or address | 13 months | If you say yes |
The two needed cookies are set without asking, because the shop cannot take an order without them. The visit counter waits for your yes.
3.Cookies we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, cookies that follow you to other websites, or buttons that let social networks watch what you read here. If that ever changes, we will ask you first and update this page.
4.How to change your choice
Press the button below, or "Cookie settings" at the foot of any page, to switch the visit counter on or off. Your browser's settings can also block or delete cookies, but the cart will stop working if you block the needed ones.
5.Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we change the date at the top. If we ever add a cookie that is not needed, we will ask you again before it is set.
6.Questions
Write to hello@crumbandco.example, ring 01632 960 418, or ask at the counter: Crumb & Co, 12 Wren Lane, Frome BA11.
