One week's rent (the monthly rent × 12 ÷ 52) keeps the home for you while we check references. It goes toward your first month's rent.

Deposit

Five weeks' rent. We put it in a government-backed deposit scheme within 30 days, and you get it back when you leave, less anything you agree to.

No other fees

By law we can't charge you for viewings, references, an inventory or the tenancy agreement. If anyone asks, tell us.

Sample figures for homes in England with a rent under $50,000 a year, rounded to the penny. Not legal advice.
