Hello, I'm Anna. If you're watching this, you might be thinking about counseling for the first time, and that can feel like a big step.
The first session is fifty minutes. It's mostly me listening. I'll ask what brought you here, and what you'd like to be different.
You don't have to know what to say. Some people start in the middle, some sit quietly for a while. Both are fine.
What you say stays in the room. The only exception is if I'm worried about your safety, and I would always talk to you first.
