The idea

one family, sixty-three years apart. On strong teal a big Abril Fatface heading, "Then one van. Now one corner.", with "Then" in pink and "Now" in yellow, and a short line about Lou and her grandad. Two risograph pictures in cream frames sit side by side, joined by a dark round arrow: Stan's van in 1962 and Lou's corner bakery today, each with its year on a tilted label. Under each: a title, two lines and who it was. The pair rises in turn as it arrives; a pink button ends it.

Palette and fonts: deep teal, frosting pink, butter yellow, mint, cream · Abril Fatface, Figtree 800 and 400
