The idea

a race page that makes you want to sign up today. On strong sea green, the race, the date and the place in one line, then a big Sora heading, "Run the cliff path for the puffins.", where the cause keeps changing in sunshine yellow: puffins, grey seals, dunes, rock pools. Four deep green boxes count down to the start gun, with a yellow button for the 10k and an outline button for the 5k. On the right, a darker card shows the places taken as a yellow bar (412 of 600), the money raised counting up to $18,460, and three plain facts. Under it, the risograph coast path runs wide, with a yellow "Wild Coast 10k" badge and a puffin turning on its corner and a seafoam "Medal from sea plastic" badge rocking on the other. A yellow strip of race facts closes it.

The calm copy

the same race page, standing still: the date where the countdown was. On strong sea green, the race, the date and the place in one line, then a big Sora heading, "Run the cliff path for the puffins.", with "puffins." in sunshine yellow. Four deep green boxes give the day, the date, the year and the start time, with a yellow button for the 10k and an outline button for the 5k. On the right, a darker card shows the places taken as a yellow bar (412 of 600), the money raised so far, $18,460, and three plain facts. Under it, the risograph coast path runs wide, with a yellow "Wild Coast 10k" badge and a puffin on its corner and a seafoam "Medal from sea plastic" badge on the other. A yellow strip of race facts, moving only as you scroll, closes it.
