The idea

a jewellery shop that feels like leaning over the bench. On near-black, a narrow intro column: the Instrument Serif heading "Small things, made slowly." uncovers line by line, with "slowly." in gold italic, three plain promises with gold icons, a gold "See all 38 pieces" button that fills from the pointer, and a thin gold ring badge ("Handmade in Brighton") turning above. Beside it, a Hover List Work index of four pieces: a gold number, the name in big serif, the material under it, the price on the right with its size or stock. Point at a row and the ink-and-wash picture of that piece follows the cursor while the name turns gold and shifts. A serif strip of promises runs along the foot.
