The idea

a bakery journal that leads with its best story. On warm cream, "Notes from the bakehouse" in Young Serif with a hand-drawn orange underline, category links on the right. The featured post is one white card: the sourdough print on the left settles from a slight zoom as you scroll, and on the right the category chip, date, reading time, a big serif title, a two-line excerpt, the baker's name and an orange "Read the story" button. Three smaller white cards follow (croissants, cake, pizza), rising in one after another and lifting on hover.

Palette and fonts: warm cream, white, dark brown, burnt orange, riso teal · Young Serif, Work Sans
