The idea

a pattern library as cheerful as a shop window. On strong mustard with slow coral and butter blobs drifting behind, a loose pile of four polaroid prints (jumper, scarf, hat, cardigan) with handwritten captions shuffles every few seconds; a coral ball of yarn with needles and a teal "Free PDF" rosette rock at its corners. On the right, a heavy Rubik heading, "Free patterns for first-timers.", where the end keeps changing in brick red: first-timers, chunky yarn, train journeys, last-minute gifts. "126 free patterns" counts up, and the three newest patterns sit in cream cards with an ink outline and a hard shadow: level and time chips, the title, the excerpt, the date and reading time, and a round arrow. A navy "Browse all 126 patterns" button fills coral from the pointer.

The calm copy

the same mustard pattern board: the loose pile of four polaroid knits with handwritten captions, now moved by its arrows; the still coral yarn ball and teal "Free PDF" rosette; "Free patterns for first-timers." in Rubik with the ending in brick red; "126 free patterns"; the three newest patterns in cream outlined cards that lift on hover; the navy button that fills coral.
