The idea

a deli counter board, sorted. On kraft cream, a heavy Bricolage Grotesque heading "Sandwiches on proper bread." with a mustard hand-drawn circle round "proper bread." and the hours beside it. Left, the six regulars as a numbered ruled list: number in rust, name in bold with a small kraft chip for the bread ("on light rye"), the fillings under it, the price lined up on the right. Right, a white card with an ink outline and a hard ink shadow: "Build your own, from $6.50" in three numbered steps, bread, two fillings, free extras, and "Toasted? Just say so." The key, the allergy line and one green button close it.

Palette and fonts: kraft cream, ink, deli green, mustard, rust, warm grey · Bricolage Grotesque 700 and 800, IBM Plex Sans
